At age 31 Laura found herself dealing with an inconvenient case of breast cancer. Yoga (and a good sense of humour) helped her cope with the side effects of treatment and crippling anxiety. 5 years on, now a 400+ hrs qualified teacher + author of “Life can be easier” #selfhealthhacks handbook, she’s healthy, happy and passionate about sharing the healing magic of yoga.
Gaining her first 200hr RYT qualification in 2015, Laura spent 4 months at the Sivananda Ashram Bahamas, where she went on to work as a volunteer teacher. With a desire to expand her knowledge of modern biomechanics, she recently completed a further 200hr RYT at the YogaShala Institute, learning advanced principles from Iyengar, Ashtanga and Bowspring methods. Laura has also studied Yoga Nidra and Trauma Sensitive Yoga for to help people suffering with PTSD.
A free spirit who loves to travel, Laura has practiced and taught all over the world, from small studios in her home town of Liverpool to the deck of a Caribbean catamaran, and even in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
She spent two life-changing months working with refugee children in Greece and her dream is to offer support to female survivors of the Yazidi genocide.
